TOCFL Locker

Based on the official Taiwan's TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) examination and covering all of the nearly 5,000 traditional chinese characters from TOCFL level 1 to level 6, TOCFL Locker is a free, intelligent quiz and flash card app designed to progressively build up your Chinese vocabulary at your own pace.

The app starts with only characters from TOCFL level 1 whether for flashcard or quiz. As the user gain familiarity of the existing characters, the app will adjust the word list to gradually include characters from subsequent TOCFL levels, i.e. one by one, from level 2 to level 6. The learning/relearning of new words are relayed and supported via informative flashcards depending on the user's preference.

Word recognition is reinforced through repeated exposure and testing, increasing or decreasing access depending on the outcome of the quiz for each of the individual characters.

Over time, the Chinese individual characters correctly answered successively four times and will be stored away in the 'Locker', thus giving way to new characters to arise, aiding digestion.

TOCFL Locker is suitable for both beginners and advance enthusiast alike, acting like a personal trainer that remembers your familiarity and understanding of each and every word in the TOCFL syllables, and word by word, step by step, help you make your way through the nearly 5,000 characters at your own pace.
