This model station, which is governed by East Central Railway and managed by Danapur railway division, lies on the Patna-Sonepur-Hajipur Section.

Key objective of the App is to facilitate the passenger with all the facility offered by Railways on their fingertips.

Other than beautification of the station building, several noteworthy facilities and amenities have been provided for passengers to provide a safe and comfortable experience. The entire station façade has been revamped with new colors scheme as well as LED lighting to give it an airport-standard feel. Also, space for parking, as well as waiting room has been completely modernized.

The entire circulating area of the station has been renovated with high-quality concrete roads and lanes, efficient drainage, fountains, landscaping, state of the art Clip On signage boards has been installed at all the major areas of Passenger Amenities.
