Heart diseases head the list among all causes of death from disease. Furthermore, heart diseases are steadily on the increase. It is the organic conditions that are most frequent and for which home treatment will be necessary for the most part, for it is a matter of months before chronic organic heart disease can be sufficiently improved that one may be considered wholly out of danger and before one's life can return to comparative normal.
