First Words is an app that teaches letters and words in fun and interactive way. First Words is very easy and fun to use. It supports kids learning and encourages kids to explore and discover by clear suprising visual feedback.

What is also great about First Words is that is so much fun to play together with your pre-reading kid.

Although made for pre-readers it was soon discovered by kids who can read already as a fun app too.

Kids just scroll the letters and playfully combine the letters to words. Each level has a number of words associated with that level. When the correct letters are combined and form a word from the word list or vocabulary then a visual and auditory feedback will indicate that a word is found. Great!

The game contains over 150 pictures of the words this way gradually the letters and word are recognized more and more.. A kind of learning by visual imprint. But really it's just fun!

Often it is possible to combine a lot more correct words may be combined by the given letters. Although a large vocabulary of words is included, and may be selected, a limited selection of words works very good for early readers. In this paid version of the app parents can add words to the vocabulary, or mark specific words as not-to-respond-to. As a parent, you can determine how you go with this.

Two game modes Discover and Search.

In the Discover play mode the goal is to combine as many words from the given letters. A lot of words the corresponding the picture of the word will appear.

In the Search play mode a picture is shown. The goal is to combine the letters that make the word for this picture. This may be quite a challenge for some early reader. But then the success is sooo much better.

Tip : Play it tranquil . Now this a game where speed doesn’t matter.
