Elsa and her sister Anna are two sisters, princesses of the kingdom of Arendelle, who are respectively eight and five years old. They are the daughters of the king and the queen of Arendelle. Elsa, the older sister, has the power to make snow and ice with a wave of her hand or foot. Together, they enjoy this magic in the throne room making snowmen and sledding. But one day Elsa hurts her sister Anna by accidentally throwing a snowball at her head. After this incident, Anna will have a white lock in her hair for the rest of her life.

The parents take their two daughters, Anna and Elsa, to the trolls. There, the troll sage heals Anna and removes from her all the memories of magic so that she no longer asks Elsa to do tricks. He warns Elsa that her powers will only grow and she must learn to control them. Fear will be his worst enemy.

It's a story about the optimistic and intrepid Princess Anna, traveling with Kristoff the mountaineer, Sven, his faithful reindeer, and a funny snowman named Olaf, to find his sister, Elsa, exiled because of her icy powers, who accidentally plunged the kingdom of Arendelle into an eternal winter...
