In the realm of Sufism or Islamic Sufism studies, the name Jalaluddin Rumi is very difficult to obscure. Sufism and Rumi are so attached. Someone who wants to study Islamic Sufism, of course, will "meet" Rumi's name so that it seems as if Rumi is Sufism itself.
His real name is Maulana Jalaluddin Muhammad bin Hasin Al-Khattabi Al-Bakri. The reviewers or readers of his book often refer to Islam's greatest Sufi as Jalaluddin Rumi or simply Rumi. Rumi's name is attributed to his residence, the Province of Rum. He is Islam's most popular Sufi poet. It has become an oasis in the realm of science and religious practice that is too liberal and radical. It is a lake with a calming spirituality.
