We Read Too was originally launched for iPhone in 2014 built by Kaya Thomas as an iOS app and since then the directory has grown to over 900 books.
We want there to be a better way for educators, guardians, librarians and community members to expose youth of color to books that have characters who look like them.
The initial versions of the Android were by built Julia Nguyen.
