TQS Code Reader

GS1とsecurPharmの現在の仕様に従ってコードをチェックします。

The TQS Code Reader is an application for decoding and checking 1D and 2D codes. The app checks the code content for conformity with the current specifications of GS1 (www.gs1.org) and securPharm (www.securpharm.de). It supports the most important code types such as Data Matrix, QR Code, Code 128, EAN and UPC.

Scope of services

The app allows the reading of the following code types: Aztec, Codabar, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Data Matrix, EAN-8, EAN-13, ITF, PDF417, MaxiCode, QR Code, Rss-14, RSS-Expanded, UPC-A, UPC-E, UPC EAN Extension. With the app, codes coded according to GS1 and securPharm can be broken down into their components and checked.

Checks performed

The code content is checked according to the following criteria:

Checking the structure

- Unknown identifier / additional content

- Double identifier

- Required identifier combinations

- Invalid identifier combinations

Checking the contents of the individual identifiers

- Length of content

- Characters used

- Control character

- Check digits

Display of inspection results

The inspection results are displayed clearly and structured. Control characters are replaced in the display by readable characters. Each detected identifier is displayed separately with its value. Reasons for errors are displayed and an overall result of the test is visualized.

Storage of inspection results

Read codes are stored in a history. From there, the inspection results can be called up again.
