However the situation has changed drastically in the recent past. In this scenario retaining the identity of a convent school is indeed challenging.St.Paul’s English Medium School of Southern Province was born on 6th July 1975, as a result of the continuous efforts of a few people of the Calicut University and some well wishers. In 1975 the school was formally inaugurated in the church adjacent to Archana with just 4 sisters, Sr.Eliza [Superior] Sr.Prabha [Head Mistress], Sr.Canute and Sr.Agnesia and 40 students on rolls in 3 classes, the Nursery, First and Fifth standards
