This is the SMARTInCANVAS toolkit. It has been realised within the activities carried out in the framework of SMARTinMED project, an EU project co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the MED programme. SMARTINMED is coordinated by Tuscany Region.

The APP is composed of 3 main sections: “Learning material”, “Guidelines of the BM tool” and “Business model Tool”.

“Business Model Tool” is the core of the APP. It is an easy tool to assess and improve companies/clusters business strategies in the fields of renewable energies and energy efficiency along 7 macro-themes/strategies assessed as relevant in companies business strategies: internationalization,new customers / markets,integrated / turn-key solutions,improved products quality,product innovation,processes innovation, green businesses.

Through this tool companies/clusters will discover their business strength and weaknesses and the most suited actions to improve it.

“Guidelines for the BM Tool” contains the document guiding companies and clusters through the BM tool step by step.

“Learning material” contains all the relevant materials produced by SMARTinMED that can help companies and clusters in understanding the Business model Tool key concepts.
