1) Ability cultivation: introduce children to causal relationships, and help guide their development of logic, reasoning, and judgment making.

2) Theoretical basis: reasoning ability is an important part of children's logical thinking ability. 3 to 6-year-old children already know about characterization, and begin to use simple characterization to conduct simple logical thinking activities. But 3 to 6-year-old children's thinking features characteristics of the image and they must constantly verify the essential link between things through specific objects. When this connection is constantly verified, children adoptit as their own.

It is critical to reinforce habits of deductive reasoning and critical thinking at an early development stage. When your child provides nonsensical answers to questions, offer positive reinforcement before guiding them to make the correct deduction. This builds their trust in you as a source of knowledge, and teaches them that it’s OK to ask questions if they’re confused or don’t know an answer.
