MRC Connect is the first Medical Reserve Corps internal communication tool.
Developed by NACCHO and Rallyware, MRC Connect is the first Medical Reserve Corps internal communication tool. MRC Connect will increase discussion among MRC unit coordinators who are located in all 50 states and most U.S. territories, and is similar to Facebook and LinkedIn. MRC volunteers prepare people in their communities for disasters, respond to local emergencies, and carry out community-wide public health outreach and education. This new technology will simplify the sharing of best practices and critical knowledge that strengthens the nationwide public health system.

1. Allows MRC unit leaders to communicate with peers around the country within a network specific site.
2. Advances ideas through interest focused community groups
3. Promotes the sharing of promising practices around administrative and community impact activities
