PMSYM - सरकार इस स्कीम को लेने वाले को 3 हजार रुपए मासिक पेंशन देगी।

असंगठित क्षेत्र के कामगार के लिए शुरू की गई प्रधानमंत्री श्रम योगी मानधन योजना का पंजीकरण आज शुक्रवार 15 फरवरी से शुरू होगा। इस योजना के तहत देशभर में असंठित क्षेत्रों में काम कर रहे 42 करोड़ कामगारों को जोड़ने का लक्ष्य है। योजना रेहड़ी-पटरी लगाने वालों, रिक्शा चालक, निर्माण कार्य करने वाले मजदूर और इसी प्रकार के अनेक अन्य कार्यों में लगे असंगठित क्षेत्र के कामगारों को कवर करेगी।

इस स्कीम का लाभ उठाने वाले अंशधारक की उम्र अगर 18 साल है तो उसे हर माह 55 रुपए जमा करना होंगे। अगर कोई 29वें साल में इस स्कीम में जुड़ता है तो उसे हर महीने 100 रुपए देना होगा। वहीं जो व्यक्ति 40 साल की उम्र से इस स्कीम को शुरू करेगा उसे हर माह 200 रुपए जमा करना होंगे। 60 साल की उम्र पूरा होने के बाद लाभार्थी को हर महीने 3000 रुपए पेंशन मिलेगी, जो सीधे बैंक खाते में आएगी।

Government of India has introduced a pension scheme for unorganised workers namely Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM-SYM) to ensure old age protection for Unorganised Workers.

The unorganised workers mostly engaged as home based workers, street vendors, mid-day meal workers, head loaders, brick kiln workers, cobblers, rag pickers, domestic workers, washer men, rickshaw pullers, landless labourers, own account workers, agricultural workers, construction workers, beedi workers, handloom workers, leather workers, audio- visual workers and similar other occupations whose monthly income is Rs 15,000/ per month or less and belong to the entry age group of 18-40 years.
