ABSA International (ABSA) was founded in 1984 to promote biosafety as a scientific discipline and serve the growing needs of biosafety professionals throughout the world. ABSA International is the managing partner for the USDA ARS Biosafety & Biocontainment Symposiums. The symposium features valuable professional development courses, two and a half-days of scientific presentations, exhibits showcasing the latest agricultural biosafety and biocontainment products and services, and networking with professionals from the biosafety and scientific research industries, organizations, and agencies.
