Smartphone overuse is NOT an addiction, for the vast majority of people. Rather, it is a combination of habits and attraction.

The great news is that smartphone habits can be improved (and transformed) through Present Mode’s simple formula to Give Presence, yet stay reachable.

Present Mode helps you leverage your smartphone to show presence to others, thereby getting more presence in return and becoming an inspiring role model for family and friends.

Present Mode is simple to use. When you click the Present Mode app, you go into Present Mode. In Present Mode:

• Notifications are paused (except for phone calls)

• Auto-replies tells people how to reach you, if it’s time-sensitive

• Present Mode’s logo glows over the closed screen, to help you give presence

To exit Present Mode, simply press the phone’s home button. Upon exiting Present Mode, the screen opens and all notifications flow back in.
