'Utsab Kolkata Police' - a digital platform for the pandal hoppers.

Sharodotsob (Durga Puja), the festival of the Year! An intangible cultural heritage declared by UNESCO, Durga Puja, 2022 will bring out almost all the citizens of Kolkata along with pandal hoppers from the suburbs on road, irrespective of age, sex, caste and creed.

To facilitate the pandal hoppers, Kolkata Police presents ‘Utsab – Kolkata Police’ mobile app with a bunch of features. One will find details of popular pujas, 360 degree view of puja pandals, nearby essential and utility services like metro stations, railway stations, public toilets, hospitals, medicine shops, restaurants etc. The app will also suggest some routes to cover puja pandals in different areas of the city. Emergency contacts of the local Police Station, Control Room, Traffic Control Room and a few more will be available for citizens in distress.
