The Johns Hopkins Doctor Referral app is a pilot initiative that provides a simple way for health care providers to connect with and refer patients to Johns Hopkins Medicine physicians in the departments of surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, urology, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as the division of cardiology practicing at all Johns Hopkins locations. The app features:

• A searchable directory of Johns Hopkins experts by area of specialty, division and departments.

• Profiles of Johns Hopkins physicians that include the best way for external providers to contact and refer a patient.

• The ability to text information and appointment telephone numbers for Johns Hopkins physicians to patients.
