Malik ibn Anas ibn Malik ibn `Amr, al-Imam, Abu Abd Allah al-Humyari al-Asbahi al-Madani, was born in (Medina in 714 (93 H), and died in the year 800 (179 H)). He is an expert on jurisprudence and Hadith, as well as the founder of Maliki. Comes from a family of Arab honor and social status is high, well before the advent of Islam and thereafter, homeland of his ancestors is Yemen, but after his ancestors embraced Islam they moved to Medina, his grandfather Abu Amir was the first family member who converted to Islam in the year to two Hijri.
