About LG TV Plus

The LG TV Plus app allows users to control their smart TVs, view photos and play videos/music from their phones on the big screen. It supports only LG webOS Smart TVs released in or after 2014 and requires pairing with a mobile device on the same Wi-Fi network. Mandatory permissions include access to storage for displaying content on the TV while optional ones allow reading of calendar information or mirroring smartphone screens (for Android O devices). Users with older Android versions may need an update.
