Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) Survey 2024 under Jal Jeevan Mission

FHTC 2024 application is used by Ipsos Field Team to conduct a comprehensive Functional

Household Tap Connection (FHTC) Survey 2024 under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), DDWS

(Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India

to assess the functional of tap connections in select households, public institutes (e.g. schools,

Anganwadi Centres and Health Centres) and PWS schemes in sample villages of all districts

in India.

With a user-friendly interface, this app aimed at acquiring comprehensive information about

the progress of functional household tap connection. The FHTC 2024 application is a tool

designed to collect and analyze data on status of functional tap connections, water quantity

and quality, grievance redressal mechanisms, operation and maintenance, water user charges

mechanism.

The data collected through this app will be used to identify key areas that needs improvement

and to devise the plan. The information that is collected during the interview using this will

be kept private.
