■Story
The traveling troupe "Tantalus" plots to kidnap Princess Garnet of the Kingdom of Alexandria.
Coincidentally, Garnet is planning to leave the country herself, and as a result, Zidane, a member of the Tantalus Squad,
ends up traveling with Garnet and her knight escort, Steiner.
With the addition of the young black mage Vivi and Kuina of the Ku tribe, the group discovers the secret of their origins and the existence of crystals, the source of life.
