Modern with rustic touches of old Cozumel and food that delights all palates.

This house was built in 1945 to accommodate a new family, when the young owner married a beautiful girl from Cozumel.

Today, SAL DE MAR is a restaurant with a modern design, which preserves rustic touches of the architecture of the old Cozumel and takes advantage of the nature of a beautiful typical garden of the island, providing a warm and pleasant ambience but more importantly: a food that delights all palates.

Our food is Mediterranean style, using mainly local fresh products, fusing Mexican and Asian ingredients.  

At SAL DE MAR we seek to enhance the authentic flavors of food, guiding your imagination to the most exquisite dishes you have ever tasted.

"Cocina al Punto" , which literally translates to "cook to perfection", is the experience we seek to convey through our creations. Our bases and sauces combined with vegetables, meats, fish and seafood will make your visit a unique experience on the Island.
