I like the gameplay but it just feels a bit bland right now. The only similarity it has to pokemon go is that it's AR. Anyway, they totally missed what could have been an amazing feature entirely.
At its core its a collecting/upgrading game. You collect weapons and heroes which you can upgrade if you collect enough cards for em. Each weapon and companion has bonuses when dealing with specific walkers so you gotta choose what weapon and companion to use for every encounter.
You can build warehouses and safehouses where you can drop off survivors that you rescue from encounters. These buildings level up when you bring a certain amount of survivors. However, they do have usually a 10 day time limit before they get destroyed by walkers. That time limit refreshes every time you level up the building. So no, you can't build a safehouse and just leave it there forever, which is disappointing. And that feature I said they missed.. well, honestly I think that safehouses and other buildings should be raidable by other players real time. But no, this game has no pvp features which I think is a MUST given the setting, theme, and series this game is based off of.
