Old Home Week – PEI’s Family Fun Fair began as a two-day event in October of 1888 with agricultural livestock shows, handicraft displays and the finest fruits and vegetables the Island soil had to offer, the Exhibition as it was known, was a testament to the work ethic and skills of the farming community of Prince Edward Island.

With more than 90,000 visitors annually, for 10 days in August, OHW features world-class entertainment, an ever-more exciting midway and attractions are combined with the agricultural and family farm-based customs of years past, making Old Home Week one of the most anticipated events each year on Prince Edward Island. Home of the Gold Cup & Saucer, one of the world’s most prestigious harness racing events.
