Muwatta Imam Malik Translation is the most Sahih Book of Hadith of the 2nd century AH
Al Muwaththa Imam Malik is a book containing Hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihi wa sallam, atsar (words) of the Companions, Fatawa of the Tabi'in. He sorted it out from the one hundred thousand Hadith that he had narrated. [Tanwir al-Hawalik p. 8, as-Suyuthi rahimahullah]
Imam Malik whose full name is, Abu Abdullah Malik, ibn Anas ibn Malik ibn Abi Amir ibn Amr ibn al-Haris ibn Gaiman ibn Husail ibn Amr ibn al-Haris al-Asbahi al-Madani .
Al-Muwattha Imam Malik is, the oldest book product of the 2nd century H, with Hadith with a systematic Fiqh. The book tahqiq by Muhammad Fuad Abd al-Baqi consists of 2 chapters, 61 books (chapters) and 1824 Hadith.
Imam Malik did not write all the History of the Prophet. There are other scholars who collect other narrations. So this book consists of:
1. The words and deeds of the Prophet Muhammad (also known as the sunnah).
2. The official opinions and decisions of the companions of the Prophet, their successors, and several later Ulama.
