We are delighted to announce that the Young Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Group of Hong Kong is launched. This is a newly found group organized by a group of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialists and trainees. The main aim of our group is to promote and arouse the interest of Oral and maxillofacial surgery in Hong Kong for both undergraduate students and OMS trainees basically through education. We have organized a lot of activities tailored to the interest and the need of students, including evening lectures, seminars and discussion and workshops. We will expand the width and depth in the scope as much as possible so that students and trainees will have real taste of how OMS is like. We will also encourage members to get involved more in professional and/or international activities and conference so as to prepare themselves to be one of us in the future.
