7. Point the needle. Take a piercing needle (or needle or pin) and point it at your ear, centered at a 90 degree angle to the earlobe. When you have marked the spot, position it directly at the point you have created.

8. Ear piercing. In one smooth and steady motion, the needle presses through the ear lobe and the cork on the other side. You will feel a sharp pinch, and your ears will feel hot and flushed, but it will not hurt. Keep the needle in the earlobe for 30 seconds and give it a slight twist. This helps you to widen the hole.

9. Put an earring. If you have been using a piercing needle, earring will be easy. Just by inserting the earring tip into the hole located in the center of the needle, then pull out the needle leaving the earring on the ear. Wipe the remaining blood using a cotton ball, and pin it on the back of the ear lobe.

10. Repeat on the other ear. If you pierced both ears, repeat the entire preparation procedure (including sterilizing the needle) and resetting it on the other side. Now take your mirror and admire your work!
