This heritage trail features seven large-scale murals of individuals who made significant contributions to the social and cultural richness of Bristol and the UK. The murals and this accompanying mobile app are educational tools to learn about the vibrant history of the St Pauls Carnival and the contributions made by these vanguards of the Windrush generation.
The app includes an interactive map showing all of the seven murals plus articles about The Bamboo Club, The Black & White Café, the St Pauls' Uprising, and The Bristol West Indian Parents & Friends' Association whose members established the St Pauls Carnival in 1968. With audio guides.
