Surah Al-Buruj is the 85th surah in the Quran. This surah consists of 22 verses and is included in the Makkiyah sura group, which is a sura that was revealed in Mecca before the migration of the Prophet Muhammad to Medina.

Surah Al-Buruj takes its name from the word "Buruj" which means "line" or "high fortresses". This surah alludes to the incidents of burning believers in the past, when they were persecuted by those who envied their faith. The verses of this surah teach the values ​​of courage, faith and justice.

Surah Al-Buruj also contains moral lessons and warnings for humanity to remain firm in faith and not fear threats or oppression from evil parties. This surah also conveys the message that Allah is Most Just (The Most Just or Mahajudili), and He will repay evil fairly at His appointed time.
