IMPORTANT: Users need to install and android RingRTC application and enter their username/password in order for the web app to function. The android and web applications communicate directly and securely using an encrypted, peer-to-peer data channel. RingRTC is not a replacement for the phone but a convenient client which makes using the phone easier. All communication like calls and text messages is a function of the actual android device.
