Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ismail ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Mughirah bin Bardizbah al-Ju'fi al-Bukhari or better known as Imam Bukhari (Born 196 H / 810 AD - Died 256 H / 870 AD) is a famous hadith expert among experts hadith from the past until now along with Imam Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, An-Nasai and Ibn Majah even in the books of Fiqh and hadith, the hadiths he has a high degree. Some call it the nickname of Commander of the Faithful fil Hadith (Leader of the faithful in Hadith Sciences). In this field, almost all scholars in the world refer to him.

Sahih Bukhari is a book (book) collection of hadith compiled by Imam Bukhari (full name: Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin al-Mughirah al-Ju'fi) that lived between 194 to 256 Hijra.

This hadith collections among Sunni Muslims is one of the best because Bukhari using very strict criteria in selecting the hadith. He spent 16 years to compile this collection and generate 2,602 hadith in his book (9802 by looping).
