Bahra University is established as State Private University by Act No. 2 of 2011 of State Legislature of Himachal Pradesh. Bahra University has been approved by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. Bahra University keeps up the promise to render all due support to needy students by fee concessions this year,Total Concession given to students is Rs.7438650/- (Rs. Seventy Four Lacs Thirty Eight Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty only). Admissions to different courses of the University shall be based on criteria decided by the Academic Council of the University in accordance with the stipulations of AICTE/UGC/BCI modified as necessary from time to time. There shall be provision for direct admission for a limited number of NRI / FN students. Mission of BUSE is 'to foster critical analysis by training students both in theory and practice so as to equip them with skills needed for facing  global challenges with team work and human values. And to build quality network with the Industry, educationists and the society for exchanging knowledge'. The modern teaching methodology assists the students in getting an all around view of engineering, technology and the entrepreneur world. The diligent faculty team of the college possesses hands-on experience and up to date knowledge of their subject and area of expertise. The infrastructure and facilities of BUSE consists of spread-out campus alongside various amenities in the form of library, computer center, classrooms with proper teaching and learning aids, medical facilities etc. The institute seeks to place each of its students in an organization/company of great repute.
