আয়াতুল কুরসী (আরবি: آية الكرسي ‎) হচ্ছে পবিত্র কোরআন শরীফের দ্বিতীয় সুরা আল বাকারার ২৫৫তম আয়াত। এটি কোরআন শরীফের সবচেয়ে প্রসিদ্ধ আয়াত এবং ইসলামিক বিশ্বে এটি ব্যাপকভাবে মুখস্ত করা হয়। এতে সমগ্র মহাবিশ্বের উপর আল্লাহর জোরালো ক্ষমতার কথা বর্ণনা করে।

اللّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاء وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيم

আল্লাহু লা ইলাহা ইল্লা হুয়াল হাইয়্যুল ক্বইয়্যুমু লা তা খুজুহু সিনাত্যু ওয়ালা নাউম। লাহু মা ফিছছামা ওয়াতি ওয়ামা ফিল আরদ্। মান যাল্লাযী ইয়াস ফায়ু ইন দাহু ইল্লা বি ইজনিহি ইয়া লামু মা বাইনা আইদিহিম ওয়ামা খল ফাহুম ওয়ালা ইউ হিতুনা বিশাই ইম্ মিন ইল্ মিহি ইল্লা বিমা সাআ ওয়াসিয়া কুরসিইউ হুস ছামা ওয়াতি ওয়াল আরদ্ ওয়ালা ইয়া উদুহু হিফজুহুমা ওয়াহুয়াল আলিয়্যূল আজীম।

আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কোন উপাস্য নেই, তিনিই চিরঞ্জীব; যাবতীয় সবকিছুর ধারক । তাঁকে তন্দ্রাও স্পর্শ করতে পারে না এবং নিদ্রাও নয় । আসমান ও যমীনে যা কিছু রয়েছে, সবই তাঁর । কে আছ এমন, যে সুপারিশ করবে তাঁর কাছে তাঁর অনুমতি ছাড়া ? দৃষ্টির সামনে কিংবা পিছনে যা কিছু রয়েছে সে সবই তিনি জানেন । তাঁর জ্ঞানসীমা থেকে তারা কোন কিছুকেই পরিবেষ্টিত করতে পারে না, কিন্তু যতটুকু তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন । তাঁর সিংহাসন সমস্ত আসমান ও যমীনকে পরিবেষ্টিত করে আছে । আর সেগুলোকে ধারণ করা তাঁর পক্ষে কঠিন নয় । তিনিই সর্বোচ্চ এবং সর্বাপেক্ষা মহান । [২:২৫৫]

The Throne Verse (Arabic: آية الكرسي ‎‎ ʾĀyat-ul-Kursī) is the 255th verse of surah Al-Baqara, the second chapter of the Qur'an. This ʾĀyat speaks about how nothing and nobody is comparable to God. It is the most famous verse of the Quran and is widely memorized and displayed in the Islamic world due to its emphatic description of God's power over the entire universe.[citation needed]

Here is one of the few named verses in the Quran, it's called, 'Ayat Al-Kursi' (Kursi: literally a footstool or chair, and sometimes translated as "the throne".) The Kursi mentioned in this verse should be distinguished from the 'Arsh (Throne) mentioned in V 7:54, 10:3, 85:15 and elsewhere. Muhammad said: "The Kursi compared to the 'Arsh is nothing but like a ring thrown out upon open space of the desert."[clarification needed][citation needed] If the Kursi extends over the entire universe, then how much greater is the 'Arsh.[citation needed] It is narrated from Muhammad bin 'Abdullah and from other religious scholars that the Kursi is in front of the 'Arsh (Throne) and it is the at the level of the feet.[citation needed] Another opinion preferred by Tabari, Sufyan al-Thawri in their exegesis, in the Mufradat by Raghib and narrated by Bukhari as the opinion of Saeed ibn Jubayr, interprets Kursi as "Allah's Knowledge (Ilm)".
