As a patient, you are an expert in your own life. The health professional, e.g. the doctor, nurse or midwife is an expert in diagnoses and treatments. Therefore, the choice of e.g. the right treatment, course or care, a decision you and the healthcare professional jointly arrive at. This happens through dialogue, where you share knowledge about options and what is important to you in your life. This app has been developed to support the collaboration between the healthcare professional and the patient. As a patient, you will be guided to think about what is important to you in your current situation. In some cases, a concrete decision support tool has been developed - DECISION HELPER. These will also be available on this app.
