Swinging (from German swinging "to swing") also known as Swiss wrestling (French Lutte Suisse) and native (and colloquially) as Hoselupf (Swiss German for "breeches lifting") is a Swiss-style folk wrestling style. more precisely, the pre-Alpine parts of German-speaking Switzerland.

Wrestlers wear sweatpants with belts that are used for holding.

Swinging is considered to be Switzerland's "national sport" alongside Hornussen and Steinstossen. Swinging and stone thrusting were included in the Swiss Federal Gymnastics Festival in Lausanne in 1855.
