Maher bin Hamad Al Mueaqly (Arabic: الشيخ ماهر بن حمد المعيقلي) born January 7, 1969, is the Imam of the Grand Masjid in Makkah. Maher's family is from Yanbu, which is where is father Hamad hails from. His father belonged to the Al-Mueaqly clan of the Balwa tribe. His mother, Sa'imah bint Mahmud al-Sisi is from a Hijazi tribe from Madinah.
