Cryptex Passswords is an application for storing, using and recovering passwords in a simple and totally secure way.

We follow the Zero-Knowledge Security model. This means that neither JMBraga Systems, as the application developer, nor anyone else has access to your passwords. Your passwords belong to you, and only you can access them.

In addition, Cryptex Passwords does not store the master password on your devices or cloud storage, so WE CANNOT RECOVER YOUR MASTER PASSWORD if you lose it. So remember your master password so you can access the Cryptex Passwords app.

We use the AES256 algorithm to encrypt your passwords, plus an extra layer of protection that is linking your Google account as one of the keys to accessing the Cryptex Passwords app. Making the app open only by linking your account, that is, even if someone knows your master password, if they don't have your device with their proper account enabled, they won't be able to access your data. All user-created passwords and PINs will be encrypted using information entered locally by the user. Still, following the same security premise, our keyboards are customized to avoid screen capture spy software. We keep access logs, which allows the user to track any movement made within the app. For the preparation of your master password, we maintain the international server security standard, which allows at the time of creation of this password, only the use of strong password. No password less than eight characters allowed, use of uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers and special symbols is required.

The master password is the only password you need to remember, it is paramount for access to the app and its configuration. Memorize it or store it in a safe place. For faster access to the system, we have created an alternative method that takes place through syllabic token generated by the system. This token has the sole function of allowing quick access to the Cryptex Passwords app. This syllabic token is generated by registering the app and can be retrieved or changed in the app's settings menu.
