CompassMan WT (Geography)

Original game to expand geographical knowledge and improve your orientation.

“CompassMan World Tour” is a really original game: there isn’t any similar game in the world. It is very educational and entertaining, plus it helps you improve your sense of direction.

The idea is to guess where a particular city is, but not marking it on the map, but using a compass. For example, if you were in London and had to guess where Paris is, you should point your device to the southeast; the score will be based on the difference in degrees that you mistook, and the size of the population to guess (the less population the more points). There are two types of operation: moving the compass with de orientation sensor or moving the compass with the finger (you can configure this in the options game).

All the capitals of the world are in the game database and there is also a web service of world records (using Google app engine and its distributed data base): when the game is over, it tells you your world position and you can see the first 10 records from the game options.

It is ideal to play alone or with others (up to 4 players). Show your friends you have a better sense of direction than them!
