RX-2020 is, at its heart, a survival simulation wrapped in a complex, dynamic story that guides the players through the tale of a shipwrecked crew and their harrowing journey to the safe haven of RX-2020. The player determines the fate of their crew with interactive events such as choosing between saving the life of a crewmember or recovering lost supplies, raiding natives for supplies or surviving a native raid, or just withstanding one of Secturn’s deadly storms, all while managing the crew’s many supplies.

Only the strongest will survive, as choices are permanent. Forced saves and no loading leaves the player unable to load at the first sign of trouble. A multitude of different events and hundreds of different outcomes create a story that changes with each playthrough. Smart choices often times reward the smart player, but percent based outcomes means that players should expect the unexpected, as even the safest choices may have unforeseen consequences. Centered around the idea of having a fun and enjoyable experience, RX-2020 contains no cash shop, no ads, and is completely free, leaving players to enjoy the game as much or as little as they’d like without the fear of sneaky bills.
