Iron Maiden was formed in Leyton, England in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris. Steve then recruited Tony Parsons (guitar), Doug Sampson (drums), and Paul Di'Anno (vocals).

Their first album IRON MAIDEN was released in 1980. Although the recording process was done in a hurry, but this album had a hits in the UK.

Before releasing their 2nd album KILLERS, Adrian Smith entered the guitarist's position. Bruce Dickinson succeeded Paul Di'Anno as vocalist.

The 2 Iron Maiden albums titled THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST and SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON were considered critics as their masterpiece album during their career.

The departure of Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith in the early 90s brought the gloomy impact of Iron Maiden's success. Blaze Bayley vocalist unable to maintain the prestige of Iron Maiden as a group of heavy metal top.

Luckily then Bruce and Adrian decide to come back to Iron Maiden again. Their return marked the release of BRAVE NEW WORLD and DVD ROCK IN RIO albums.

After releasing 13 studio albums for more than 30 years of music, 2006 yesterday they released the album A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH.
