Also a sacred site or such structure can be a Mosque, a Cathedral, a Shrine, a Synagogue, a Fire Altar, a Menorah, a Temple or a place of worship attributed to a god or goddess, devoted to Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah, Anahita, Mithra, Vishnu, Devendra, Indra, Krishna, Hanuman, Ganesh, Lakshmi, Shiva, Brahma, Saraswati, Ganapati, Faravahar, Ahura Mazda, Sat Nam, Akal Purakh, Waheguru, Jesus, Virgin Mary, Buddha, Ashur, Ishtar, Marduk, Baal or Bel. Holy cities are popular for Pilgrimage and attract many pilgrims, for example Mecca that hosts the Kaaba or Jerusalem that hosts the Dome of the Rock, Al Quds, Temple Rock, Temple Mount.
