Duran Duran is a pop / rock music group, from the United Kingdom with the initial formation of Simon Le Bon (vocals), Andy Taylor (guitar), Nick Rhodes (keyboard), John Taylor (bass) and Roger Taylor (drums).

In 1986 Andy and Roger left the group. Then in 1989, Warren Cuccurullo officially replaced Andy until 2001 and Sterling Campbell replaced Roger until 1991.

The band comes from two best friends, Nick Rhodes and John Taylor, they agree on the name Duran Duran, which comes from the movie BARBARELLA.

They launched a self-titled album in 1981 and with the capital of Planet Earth singles, Careless Memories and Girls On Film, their albums were quite successful.

After the success of the first album, Duran Duran launched their second album in 1982, entitled Rio. The album managed to bring great success, after launching singles My Own Way, Save a prayer, Hungry Like The Wolf and Rio.

In 1983 they re-released the single Is There something i should know and Seven and the ragged tiger. And In 1986 Duran Duran re-launched the album titled Notorious. This album left three personnel Duran Duran, namely Nick, John and Simon, who left behind by Roger and Andy, respectively because of stress and solo careers. But in this album Andy still contributes by playing several singles.

In 1988 Duran Duran released Big Thing album (1989) and recruited new personnel, Warren Cuccurullo (Guitar) and Sterling Campbell (Drums).
