The Chef Piñeiro app is a Multimedia Recipe Book by one of the most famous chefs of puerto rican cuisine, Chef Enrique Piñeiro. This TV Personality has distinguished himself as one of the most re-known chefs in Puerto Rico and has a bachelors degree in Culinary Arts Managment, from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Chef Piñeiro worked for a year at the Michelin Guide Three Star Restaurant "El Raco de Can Fabes" with Chef Santi Santamaría at Barcelona, Spain. This app places at the hand of the user exclusive gourmet recipes for poultry, red meats, fish and sea food, vegetables, side dishes and desserts.

It also includes a section for children to cook with their parents called "Cocinando con Mamá" and presents a special selection of fine wines chosen by Chef Piñeiro himself.

Each recipe includes its ingredient list and preparation instructions and and allows the user to save the ingredients list of any recipe of interest for later review, vote for the recipe to show how popular it is and lets the user add personal tips to each recipe for other user to see. The app also allows the user to share recipes on Facebook, Twitter or via email.

The app includes videos of recipes preparation, video tips for better cooking and step by step audio recipes all by Chef Piñeiro, as companion to the recipes.
