Scientists citizens - Real-time Monitoring Air Quality

Scientists citizens is a local project of science, technology and education, developed by the SIATA and funded by the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Aburrá Valley.

The first version of the project is in force since December 2015, when some citizens of Greater agreed to have in their homes or workplaces a "cloud", which is a sensor inexpensive for measuring air quality, which allows to obtain data points, the minute, temperature, humidity and PM2.5.

Having a network of this nature has enriched research to support decisions of citizens and local authorities; It has also raised awareness of people about their role in contributing to the care and improvement of air quality in the region.
