Vibration meter using your device's accelerometer sensors. It measures

quakes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, avalanches and other sources of vibration and shocks.

It shows reference to earthquake vibrations as classfied by internationally used Modified mercalli intensity scale(MMI) for sesmic activities.

Modified mercalli intensity scale(MMI) distinguishes the following levels of vibration.

Modified mercalli intensity scale(MMI):

I. Not Felt. Felt by extremely sensitive people only

II. Weak. Felt only upper floors of high buildings

III. Light. Felt indoors. like a passing of a truck

IV. Moderate. Dishes, doors rattle. Like passing train

V. Rather Strong.Felt by all. Some dishes broken.

VI. Strong. Many frightened. Heavy furniture moved

VII. Very Strong. Hard to stand. Old buildings damage

VIII. Destructive. Fall of walls. Significant damage

IX. Violent. Ground cracks. Buildings shifted off

X. Intense. Most buildings destroyed. Rails bent

XI. Extreme. Rails bent greatly. Pipelines destroyed

XII. Catastrophic. Almost destroyed. Damage total

Vibration meter can also be called seismometer. Use this app only for reference because android devices have a wide of performance and sensitivity.
