Matir Katha farmer version has select few modules that enable farmers of West Bengal, to get time bound support from DOA officials using their smartphone, from the field itself.

Crop problem: Farmers can send image and description of crop problems from field. Query will reach to Matir Katha portal instantly. Farmer will receive answer in his/ her mobile phone, given by Block Agriculture officer of other experts, both as incoming voice call and SMS.

Natural calamity: Farmers can send image and description of natural calamity effected crops to Govt. officials

Farmers registration: Farmers can get themselves registered with Department of Agriculture, Govt. of WB with ID proof and various other details
