Disable incognito browsing or automatically close incognito tabs on screen off. (Paid version includes ability to monitor incognito use and log events, media playback and file downloads within Chrome.)

⚫ Auto-close

In Auto-close mode, Incoquito will automatically close incognito tabs when the screen is turned off or after the chosen delay. Optionally, for peace of mind, a sound/vibrate alert can notify you when tabs have been closed.

⚫ Prevent

In Prevent mode, Incoquito will prevent incognito tabs from being opened. This can be useful if you allow a child access to your device and don’t want them to be able to hide their browsing history from you. Additionally, you can also configure a message to be displayed to the user and a sound/vibrate alert can notify you that Incoquito prevented an incognito tab from being opened.

✶ Event logging

Ability to log various events related to the use of incognito mode in Chrome, including when incognito tabs are opened or closed.

✶ Activity logging

Ability to log media playback and file download activity from within Chrome. Logging can be enabled for all browser sessions or only when there are incognito tabs open.

✶ Launcher hide

Incoquito can be hidden from the launcher so that it is not obvious that it is installed. Once hidden, Incoquito is only able to be launched from the dialer or its launch web page (see the FAQ below). This may prove useful if you wish to install Incoquito on a child's device but don't want them to easily discover it.

Parental note

If you are a parent using Incoquito for your child you should also take steps to prevent Incoquito from being uninstalled or the settings which it relies on being changed. Therefore it is highly recommended to use an app locker to prevent access to Android's Settings app.

Requirements

• Chrome version 51.0.2698.0 (or later) and notifications turned on for Chrome

• Access to notifications

To check whether Incoquito will work on your device prior to installing, open an incognito tab in Chrome. If Chrome adds it's "Close all incognito tabs" notification to the notification drawer, Incoquito will work on your device.
