DistanceD – The Perfect Social Distance App, a simple and fun way to practice social distancing.

DistanceD was created for anyone who wishes to monitor their social distancing to ensure a safe/healthy lifestyle. DistanceD achieves this by prompting our users when they are in proximity of another user.

Note: DistanceD requires Bluetooth and Location Services to be running.

DistanceD tracks the distance between neighbouring individuals who have a Bluetooth-enabled device in discoverable mode or run the app on their device.

You can define proximity ranging from 6 to 12 feet – and the application provides a beautiful user experience with visual/color cues.

• Red Color: If the breach is within the defined critical range.

• Orange Color: If the breach is within the defined high proximity range.

• Yellow Color: If the breach is within the defined medium proximity range.

• Light Green Color: If the breach is within the defined low proximity range.

• Dark Green Color: If the device is in the safe zone.

 The device’s scan/transmit intervals can be defined in 5-60 seconds

Permissions: DistanceD requests permissions for enabling Bluetooth and Location Services. Both services are mandatory for DistanceD to function.
