Their classic line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (lead guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass guitar). Queen's earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock, into their music.

Queen es una banda británica de rock formada en 1970 en Londres por el cantante Freddie Mercury, el guitarrista Brian May, el baterista Roger Taylor y el bajista John Deacon. Si bien el grupo ha presentado bajas de dos de sus miembros (Freddie Mercury, fallecido en 1991, y John Deacon, retirado en 1997), los integrantes restantes, May y Taylor, continúan trabajando bajo el nombre Queen, por lo que la banda aún es considerada activa.
