Sobar is a first for Nottingham, an alcohol free café bar and music venue where all of the profits go back into the charity 'Double Impact'.

Sobar was set up when members of the Double Impact recovery programme remarked that they found social isolation was a large barrier to their getting better.

This was due to the fact that it was difficult to be in a social environment without being confronted by alcohol. Thus, Sobar was born. We provide our clientèle a place to come and socialise without the focus being on alcohol.
